From her earliest childhood Ayala Adler remembers her fascination for handling different materials, experimenting with them and exploring their limits.
Ayala says "I used to investigate them and found in them my escape and joy.
I used to sit hours engrossed with them, concentrated as if reading a book. Touching, bending, breaking and creating new forms. As a teenager I discovered my love for creativity and art."
Ayala Adler grew up in Jerusalem, though she no longer lives there it’s the source of inspiration to her work. The city where different materials, forms and creations are artistically integrated into its history and religion.
Like an alchemist I tried to change their structure and texture from hard and unyielding materials, to soft and meaningful artistic objects.
This was the first time I learned the techniques of handling the different metals, shaping them into meaningful forms with a statement.
The essence of Ayala's art is that even from simple metals, beautiful colors and stunning products can be created by the skillful management of techniques. Extracting the colors from the metals them selves. My work presents my strong love of nature in the form of the stunning “fire spots” which permeate my art.
